WELCOME TO THE COUNTY OF CHOICE!!
Homa Bay, they say is the County of choice.
It is the county where the County government CHOOSES to award tenders to
young entrepreneurs and contractors. The young entrepreneurs and contractors
then choose to accomplish the work and tenders they have been awarded.
The county government then CHOOSES NOT to pay the contractors and suppliers
for the work they have done.
When the said contractors CHOOSES to ask the county government to honor
their deal and pay up, the County government CHOOSES to use the police force to
beat up and teargas the said contractors for demanding to be paid.
Conveniently forgetting that he will CHOOSE to run for a second term in
office in 2017, the incumbent (governor) CHOOSES to ignore the plight of his
potential voters.
Deeply inebriated from the strappings that come appended to power, his
political advisors have CHOSEN to sleep on the job instead of advising him to
reconsider his stand.
The big question is, will they (contractors) CHOOSE to vote him again? ONLY
TIME WILL TELL.
